About us
The Ananda Line began as The Ananda Bookstore in 1975, located in Riverside, CA. In 1989 we joined the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in San Bernadino, CA where we opened our first location as "The Mystic Trader." In 1998 we expanded our presence by joining the Texas Renaissance Faire. Also during this time we developed a line of wholesale products, creating The Ananda Line.
In 2003 we sold the Bookstore to focus on our Faire and wholesale businesses, and moved to Virginia in 2005. 2019 was our 30th season with the Renaissance Pleasure Faire and our 22nd season with the Texas Renaissance Faire.
